Tierradentro is a high-quality coffee mainly sourced from Inza and Pedregal, Cauca. Its name, meaning “inside the land,” dates back to the 16th century Spanish conquest attempts. The region, known for its complex mountainous landscape and rich pre-Columbian hypogea, is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The coffee lot is meticulously curated, ensuring each sub-lot meets strict quality and physical standards. Samples from each sack are cupped at various stages for consistency before final approval. Tierradentro stands as a testament to the dedicated producers who value our transparent model and adapt to processing adjustments.
The contributing producers grow Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo varietals at elevations between 1,700 to 2,000 meters.
