  • Afrutado – Mexico **

**This coffee roasts to order on Tuesday of each week**

Grupo Terruno Nayarita (GTNAY) is an enterprise that delivers high quality, socially and environmentally responsible, traceable coffees from Mexico. GTNAY stockholders are independent democratic coffee producing societies throughout the state of Nayarit. This coffee comes to us from small producers in La Yerba, El Cuarenteno, and Cofradia de Chocolon. Afrutado is a natural process coffee, which means the coffee is left to dry in its cherry after it is harvested. As a result, in the cup we experience an enhanced body as well as subtle strawberry flavor with rich chocolate fudge. This coffee is enjoyable solo and blends well with cream and sugar.

  • APROCASSI – Peru

APROCASSI (Asociación de Productores Cafetaleros Solidarios de San Ignacio) was formed nearly twenty years ago in 2000, originally as an effort to protest the mining companies who were flocking to the area to harvest precious metals. Set on protecting their farming land, a small group of farmers banded together and formed the association. Currently, the association has about 600 members. APROCASSI is focused on selling certified coffees, increasing production, and the diversification of products, such as honey, cocoa, and pisciculture. APROCASSI is focused on keeping youth in coffee, as well as women’s income diversification. This coffee has a big, chocolate profile for an overall well-balanced cup. It makes a great pot of drip and is hearty enough to enjoy with (or without!) milk.

**This coffee roasts to order on Tuesday of each week**

Who doesn’t want to drink high quality coffee all day long? We’ve got you covered with this special release Single Origin Decaf from Ethiopia. It checks all the boxes of a high scoring, specialty grade coffee full of so much fruity goodness in the cup.

Sourced from our friends at Royal Coffee, they select this lot based on cupping evaluations. After selection, the green coffee is pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. The beans are then introduced to a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extract the caffeine without extracting the coffees particular flavor. The Royal Select Water decaffeination process leads to a sweet and fruity cup that fits great in our line up of single origin coffees.

  • Gakurari – Kenya **

**This coffee roasts to order on Tuesday of each week**

This coffee is the culmination of 500 smallholder farmers who are members of the Gatunyo-Kigio Farmers Cooperative Society. The producers deliver their cherry to Gakurari Factory, one of the society’s four washing stations. Gakurari Factory employees meticulously process their coffee, which includes 12-16 hours fermentation, 2 days skin drying (thin bed, frequent rotation, and hand sorting of parchment), followed by 10-12 days of regular drying. Coffees from Kenya are graded by bean size and density – this one is an “AB” or screen size 15 & 16. While the larger “AA” size tends to be more prestigious, AB’s cup just as well or better, and Gakurari indeed packs a punch. This coffee is incredibly tasty, bright, and sweet, scoring 87 on the cupping table.
